Lifted Rocker Throws

Lifted Rocker Throws are a back leg exercise.

We begin in a wide stance with hips and shoulders aligned to the target.

With hands centered, we rock forward into our front leg, and then rock backwards into our back leg.

As we rock backwards, our front leg comes up off the ground and into a pitching leg lift position.

From here, we load the back leg and fire the ball to the target.

The goal with this drill is to incorporate some rhythm and momentum, which will aid in helping the athlete better load up on their back side.
