Leg Lift Sprinters
Leg Lift Sprinters are a balance exercise.
We start in a forward leaning lunge position with the front foot facing the target, the back foot on the toes.
The initial movement is to pivot on the back foot & grounding it into the turf.
From there, we push off with our front foot and drive the knee back into a full pitching leg lift.
Once balance is achieved, we deliver the ball to the target as we normally would.
Our goal with this drill is to test our balance with momentum generated in the opposite direction to our intended target.
