The Walkthrough Drill is a balance and timing drill.
We start with both feet facing away from our target.
Our front leg then steps backwards followed by our back leg doing the same.
As the back leg steps, we turn the foot sideways and ground it into the turf.
Our front leg then swings up and around into our pitching leg lift position.
Once we balance here, we deliver the ball to the target.
The goal with this exercise is to test ourselves with forward momentum and rotation. Walking into the leg lift will really expose any weakness with our balance we may have.
